Can someone tell me what color the rims should be on a 1956 super 77 I have seen them be red or green? Which is the right one?

They were green originally. They went back to red in 1957. I don't know that anybody would call the correct police if you painted them red. Some dealers had to paint them red when they were new before they could sell them. Not everybody was real fond of the green wheels.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I guess. I never really liked either color on the wheels- clover white looks a lot better with meadow green, IMHO.
