I am familiar with the basic pattern; but; the plate is missing from dash and need to know which gears are where. thanks

You can get a new plate at Korves for $14 if you want one. Go to their parts page and scroll down to emblems and you'll see Super 55 gear shift plate.

....and also remember that the top is just low range of the bottom. In other words,5th and 6th are the same gear etc for the others just hi/lo range but it does use all gears as apposed to a torque converter and/or planetary gear set. Might just explain your next possible question to yourself as to why they are spread all over like they are.
