1650 Power Steering Cylinder

I got a complete kit from Smitty's in Dalton Ohio when I got a housing from him last month. I'd think Agco would have a complete kit too though.
I posted a question about the contents too. I don't know if you saw it or know what all those parts are,but I didn't know what the big thin pair of O-rings were for. They're expanders that go under the Teflon rings.

Thanks very much for the info. I'd like to get that kit from Smittys and sure would like to know more about what to expect when getting into the cylinder -- sent you a message.

Oops, can't send you a message and cannot find your post on this. Do you have the website or phone number for Smitty's ?

Ya,his number is three three O,eight three two,97 nine two.
There's not much in there. A gear under the top cap and a piston in the housing. Lift out the gear, tap in a little on the end cap of the housing, then stick a small wire or something in the little hole in the housing to get the wire snap ring out. I stood the whole thing on end between two 4x6's and just dropped it a few inches gently and the cap and piston came out. Not much to it then. Just replace the O-rings and the two Teflon rings and the quad ring.

(quoted from post at 01:09:35 01/18/15) Anyone know where to get a kit to rebuild a 1650 power steering cylinder (includes seals, quad-ring, etc.) ? Thanks
know this is an older thread but I need the part number for the power steering cylinder kit. Can anyone help me?
