Im completing a full rebuild on my 1946 oliver 70 motor. For the life of me I can not remember what to line up on the cam gear and crank for the timing. Each has a marking on a tooth of the gear but they can't line up since they are both on a tooth. Wish I had a picture. Can't seem to find anything online or pictures. Hope someone out there knows what im talking about. Thanks in advance.

I'm rebuilding one too , I have the gears still
open and I may have pix of them available , let me
look .....

I checked and there is supposed to be two marks on the cam gear.

On the gear I am looking at there is one distinct mark and a really faint mark on an adjacent tooth.
