880 pto shaft removal

I recently had a post on here about clutch housing removal on a late 880. after reading a reply from J.Schwiebert ( thank you for the reply)I decided to remove the engine. I have everything ready to lift the engine out. Im trying to figure out how to remove the big dome type housing on the rear of the tractor and what I need to do inside of there so I can slide the shaft rearward so I can lift the engine out. I know I should buy a manual but chances are I will probably never have to repair one of these tractors again. Thank you for any help. cjrpr.

There are 4 bolts on the bottom of the housing, remove them and push the pto lever/handle forward and it comes right off, then remove the 3 bolts under/behind the clutch pack and pull the pto shaft out. You may have to pry it a little to get it to come out. No need to remove the engine if you don't have a power booster, just remove the hood and gas tank and the bell housing will lift right out. you don't need to do anything on the inside to get the shaft out.
