Just purchased a oliver 770 checked for serial tag and none was present checked and no holes were drilled took number off engine block and sent it to Floyd county got the build card back it was marked as experimental no build dates or ship dates, Has anyone received a build card like this does it mean the tractor was one of the first one built, I couldn't get to many answers from them, Thanks

You need to get a parts book and go over the tractor with a fine tooth comb. The first thing to look for is anything with a letter "X" before a casting or part number. Look at the front frame and transmission/rear end numbers. If they match the parts book numbers, you will need to look until you find what is different about your tractor.
