Hi. I normaly repair IH and Deere and AC. I recently got an Late Oliver 880 in the shop with I believe the clutch throw out bearing is going bad. Makes noise when the clutch pedal is pushed. I don't have a lot of experience on Olivers because they aren't too popular in my area. My question is. Can the clutch housing and clutch be removed without removing the engine? Im not sure if there is going to be room enough under the steering column. Im thinking about removing the engine to access the clutch. What is the best easiest way to go about this? Thank you for any help. cjrpr.

The first question is: Does the tractor have a power booster? If so the answer is NO!. The first thing you remove is the long PTO shaft as the end is splined to the drive hub in the flywheel. Does the tractor have power steering and if so hydrostatic (conversion) or hydraulic assist? Also I will ask, does it have a front mounted belt pulley? Your turn to answer all this. You have a phone number? J.
