1750 Rear Wheels

Hello

Looking at a '69 1750 and the rear wheels seem different. One seems to be mounted to the outside making the track wider on one side but not sure. Are these the same style of wheels, or is one from a different tractor (maybe a 1755)?

It has a different wheel on one side for sure. I had a 1555 that had the same style wheels on it like the bottom picture, They used the same cast center on 34 and 38 inch wheels and used different blocks from the wheel to the centers. The owner may have had a tire went bad and just replaced the tire and wheel from one at a junk yard. Bandit

The top wheel is the old style wheel. The bottom one is the new style casting. Is the same tractor you had a picture of before? if it is it is not a 1750 at least it was not a 1750 engine.

I worked on that tractor some time ago. You contact me if you have any questions, email is open

I think you could get the 2cnt. style wheel on the
late 50 series tractors. Also think the 34" and
the 38" were two different wheels. Casting #. on
the 34's are 166218-A, the 38" # are 166217-A. I
believe they both used the same wedges. They where
made for the double bevel rims. Used this style on
the late 50 series, 55 series, and a some early
Whites. I have a 1650 with this style with 34"
tires and a 2150 with this style with 38" tires.
You could mount them reversed as you have or the
other way with the dish out. Most I have seen are
mounted with the dish out. Larry
