mag question

Don't know but only if you mended it!

You need to know if the coupler is the same (most were) and if it would fit physically.

Direction of rotation could be another problem, but many of the impulse couplers could be reversed and the interrupter changed round.

Flange bolt hole positions might be yet another minor model difference.

I hope someone more helpful will be along shortly, but there are a few things to consider before purchasing or making an offer.

i know a while back, some one told me about some other models, can't find old post,, thanks for info, i'm just taking long shots..
i see that it would need work on it if it fits..

The mag in the photo won't work. It has the offset flange for a continental engine Not a farmall tractor.

If you have manuals for your tractor. it should tell you the direction, RH or LH and the lag angle.

If I remember correctly the Oliver used a Wico RH mag with about 35 degree lag angle?

I think a Wico for an Allis or Case would be close enough to work.

I don't know if you have the old one. This guy works on Magnetos (Gil Hillsinger 410-795-3734) He may also have one to fit your engine.
