need help getting rams apart to replace the seals, does anyone know how they come apart. Its the tilt rams not the lift rams. These have 4 bolts on one end of ram,but still don't budge with these bolts out,its also looks like its tackwelded in 4 spots,i wonder if you have to grind these out to get it apart, but don't want to cause more work or damage it.Thanks John

I thought you would have had a reply by now. I do not have a 1710 loader, never have looked close at one. I would suggest going to the Agco website, supposed to be a parts section there. Look for a parts breakdown to see if there is anything besides the 4 bolts that hold the cylinder together. Is it possible that there is an internal keeper that must be fished out of the other end of the cylinder in order to take it apart from the other end?? Don't know, just asking. The header lift cylinder started leaking on my 6600 combine. Base of the cylinder is welded on, the other end has a ring or keeper that must be fished out of a groove that holds the cylinder together. This may be similar?? Hope this helps. Chris
