I don't know how many pf you guys are on facebook, but Floyd County Museum put a photo of a Oliver dump truck on there. Thought some of the guys that aren't on there might like to see it.

It is also in C. H. Wendel's Oliver Hart-Parr book and the truck may have a 770 engine. The book also has a truck pictured with an 880 engine. My wife bought that book for me in 1997 and it has a lot of info and is one of my favorite Christmas gifts I have received. Greg

The Wendel book has a lot of good information and the many photos are good references. However, the photo captions have serious errors. Look at pages 60 and 61 where you find the photos of Hart and Parr. The captions are reversed!! This is an embarrassment for a book entitled OLIVER HART-PARR.

Sure looks like a S55 or 550 to me. I'm going with
550 due to the shape of the front axle. In the
first picture the rear axle housing looks 550ish.
The brake pedals look like 550. Would make for some
interesting controls.
