Hi
I've been gone awhile working out of town for long periods of time and haven't been here much for the past year. The old 1555 has been sitting since last year and going over it now to get ready for snow removal noticed the axle seal slight leak has got much worse.I filled the trans to the top of the small elbow at the right rear of tractor and today it is down to the bottom of the tube again.Problem is at the moment no place to fix the axle seal plus tires are fluid filled and just moving the wheels in for the narrower snow blower was a huge chore with that weight.Question is,what is not getting lubed with he level and inch and half low? Until spring for the bit of snow blowing, slow speed operation is damage going to take place with use.Is this trans lubed by a pump as well ?
Thx for the help ,plan to be here a bit more now that back for the winter.
