J. Schwiebert or other Oliver mechanics

Working on an 1855 and turning it into a puller. It will retain all
appearances of a factory 1855 with cat II 3pt except for the
external linkages and levers. It will also retain factory steering
and brakes. PTO housing will also be gutted with only a
bearing for the main shaft to be supported on.

My question is.......can I delete all the internal linkages, draft
control hydraulic cylinder, servo valve and spool without
affecting steering and brakes?

My thought is yes, other than having to find a way to support
the 3pt hitch arms in the up position. But I wanted to verify
before doing the work.

Thanks

You can eliminate all of it, but you will need to plug the oil feed that comes up from the pressure control valve.
