2-105 changes during production run?

Looked at a 2-105 today - '76 model - no headlights in the grille and air intake under the hood.
I understand some of the late 105s have the dot4 engine. Apart from that, were there any significant mechanical changes made during the 2-105 production run?

One reason for the Dot 4 engine was Perkins dropped the Dot,1,2 &3 engines and just made the Dot 4 engines

On my 75-2-105, gotta pull engine to remove pan, think maybe
a frame redesign in some of the later ones changed that.

Not an expert on those by any stretch,but didn't they beef up the differential and brakes at some point?
