There is an Oliver 44H mounted corn picker advertised in the Lancaster Farming in Juniata County PA for $250 seller says in good shape.I'll post the phone number if anyone is interested.

My dad bought a No.4 approximately in 1947 or thereabout and mounted it on a 70 rowcrop. It was one of the first Oliver mounted pickers around. The next year we bought a new 88 and traded the picker in on a new no.4. The older picker needed some updates as a new models usually do. Also the 88 required different mounting brackets on the axel that were different from the mounts on the axel of the 70. We used it for maybe 10 years. The first mounted picker replaced an Oliver pull picker with a hitch on the side to pull the wagon alongside.
