There was a real nice 1850 Oliver gas shown at the 2014 Ft Scott,KS show..Lots of money had been spent on tires..The car muffler needs to go..

I'll also show a few of the Oliver pullers..

It is a later one too unless they installed the 3 speed. The first 28-44 is also an early one since Hart Parr is in large letters and Oliver is in small letters.
 
Good photography BG! Any chance you have a PIC or two of our old 88? Of the 8 years we pulled it I only have a couple. Thanks, gm
 
Gary,much to my regret I have no pictures of all the pulling tractors in your area from the late 1960's in to the 1970's...I'd love to see pictures of your 88 Oliver,the Kirchers and Cooks Massey's,Carliles 1950 Oliver,Bensons 460,etc....Those were some fun times with the great pulls at Pleasant Hill,Harrisonville,East Lynne,Garden City,Raymore,Archie,Louisburg,KS,etc..
 
If I can get it to post, I have one of our 88 under Pop at Butler way back there. You were probably there. Jackson only lives about 10 miles from me. I'll see if he has any old PICs. That old "Heart Breaker" sled covered a lot of ground back then.

Thanks...That picture sure brings back lots of memories....If you are talking about Raymond J I usually see him every year at the ElDorado Springs MSTPA pull and the Adrian,MO tractor show...We always talk about the old days of pulling and the blue bottles on all the Massey Ferguson pullers that ran out of Knights at Harrisonville..For what it was Jimmie K's little 65 Massey ran great..

I saved the picture of your 88...If you run across any more old pulling pictures post them...Thanks..I pulled our 856 IH at Butler in 1974 but dont have any pictures..
 
I talked to Ray today. He told me that just this past weekend he sent 3 shoe boxes full of slides home with 1 of his boys who plans to put them on disc. I bet we get to see a whole lot of old timers when he's finished.
