Swept back axel

I have a 1550 Utility that has a swept back axel that I have questions about. Sense I bought this one I have been researching them and one thing that keeps catching my eye is the front end. This one is built different than the others I have seen (in person) and pictures of them. On this one the axel frame (front to back is the same but its the brackets that hold the axel to the cradle (front to back) are different than all the others. This one is strait up and down and all the rest are set at a 45* angle from the bottom of the cradle to the axel. Why is this one different? Do I have an odd ball? I believe this one was built 2-7-66 so could they have changed it after it was built? Also how many utilities were built in 66? Can anyone shed some light on this and have good information on the numbers built and the axel? Bandit (Sorry picture is not the best to see it)

I wonder how many were made this way? Early version utility diesel, Makes it a little more rare I guess. I do like the fact that it's only 6 feet wide (outside to outside of rear tires) and can go in even closer. Cant wait till next year to hook it to the 520 Oliver baler I just bought, I think this will be a great baling tractor for sure. Bandit
