That is a very very nice original e3. you shouldn't have a problem getting it sold, but the bad news is its not at all a rare or valuable tractor top end in my area would be 1300 average selling price of a 1000 and I have bought several for 5-700 in pretty close to the same condition.

Nice looking original tractor with the generator still in place. (That's a plus in my book) The Cockshutt 30 is a rare bird in my area, but the ones here that are similar would probably got for about $1000.
I like that you still have the original seat assembly, even though it is bad-mouthed by about everyone.

If I didn't need to sell it,I'd keep it. Some day you will wish you had held on to it.As the others have said, it's not that valuable right now,but who knows in another 20 years. I have sold a few things way too cheap that I wish I had held on to,like 2 1969 Plymouth Road Runners. Once old things are gone they are not always easy to replace.

My Dad still misses his road runner too...

A year ago I sold this E-3 to a friend for $800...I kept the rear weights..The tires were shot except for one rear and the motor was free..He put some good used pistons (got new rings) and sleeves in it from a 30 Cockshutt in a salvage yard.....He didnt have to touch the bottom end as the crank and bearings were good

Your Dads E-3 would bring around $1500 in my area as they arent too common..
