Proper plow for a Hart Parr 70

I've got the 2 bottom plow that the farmer bought with my Oliver 70. I'm not sure how many inch bottoms they are. Maybe when I get more time I will get to use them. I've owned them for 25 years.

If I remember my numbers correcltly the plow that was around with the Hart Parrs was called a No. 107 tractor gang plow. However my dad has been looking for one for the last 7-8 years hes had his 70 with no luck. I would just go with a 2-14 Model 100 plowmaster and nobody will try to correct you on it.

I have my father's Cockshutt 70 Standard. We used to pull 3 -12's - a Cockshutt 8A plow. Somtimes in heavy ground we took the back furrow off. i would say 2 -14 or 3-10 would be a great match for it. 2nd gear was good for plowing although some used 3rd gear also, we alwyas used 2nd. Still have the tractor and most likely always will for as long as I am around. I was driving it yesterday!

I have a 1937 Hart Parr on full steel and I pull a early plow master 2-14 three wheel on full steel, It dose well in any ground I have plowed from Michigan clay to sand and looks great with the tractor.I have looked for a 107 or a 109 for almost 10 years and found one,I could buy three more tractors for what they wanted and it was a broken pile.
