Yesterday I saw a 99 on propane. Did Oliver Ever make a99 on propane? The installation was very neat looked like it could have been factory installed. The man said his father bought a pair hooked in tandem at Sublet Ks. They used it to pull two 20 foot oneways. Interesting story.

The subject of a LP Gas 99 tractors have come up several times in the last few years. There is no written information that any 99, super 99's or 950's left the factory equipped with LP Gas equipment.

It is thought that some company in Kansas or Oklahoma converted some 4 cylinder and a few 6 cylinder 99's, in the 1950's.

As far as hooking the big Olivers in tandem, I am sure it was done. The only one I ever saw was in Colorado, and it was two 990 Diesels hooked in tandem. Sitting between the two tractors, I don't think you could put on enough ear muffs to drown out the noise.
