Oliver 77 Engine

I have an Oliver 77 engine from 1954 that is stuck. I can not find any ID plate on it. I found the numbers 185220A and 1M100A cast on the block. Is there a serial number stamped on it somewhere? I want to order parts to rebuild it.

Well first of all the Oliver engines did not use an I. D. Plate. Now with that being said since the engine is 6o years old, tear the engine down first and measure everything up. I have seen them with 4 different bore sizes. Also is this engine for your OC-6? There are few differences in those engines and a 77 engine. I used to have your E-mail but it is long gone in cyber space. Maybe contact me on the Cletrac site. Your engine serial number is stamped on the right rear flange of the block. Questtions? J.

Yes it is out of the OC 6. It is not apart yet, maybe in a couple of weeks. I will contact you then on the Cletrac site. I had your e-mail too, but that was a couple of computer's ago!!
