I have information as to the possible whereabouts of the Oliver 1755 that Don Brandt used to own. See the previous post on the 1955 Heritage for some insight as to what I am talking about. If interested please post back here and I will relay some info. about the tractor and its possible whereabouts.

I am responding to your post regarding the Don Brandt 1755. PrincetonBill is helping a brother-in-law farm and will be off the net for a few days. We are interested in finding brother Dons'1755 and any help you may be able to provide would be appreciated.

When I worked at GBI in Lytton I used to work with the top Oliver Tech. in this area who used to work for Ditzel Impl. in Lytton before GBI bought it. I left GBI for another Dealership and am currently there. 10-12 Years later the Oliver Techs daughter comes to work for us where I am currently employed and has been with us for about 3-4 years. Anyhow I still keep in touch with her Dad when I see him at local celebrations and such as he owns an awesome Oliver 1950 Industrial. One day a couple of weeks ago a read the post on here about the Oliver Heritage Tractors and "Don Brandt Lytton, Iowa" jumped out at me. But I was a little confused as I thought I knew everybody around the Lytton Area especially all the Oliver Owners and especially where everybody lives as I am a member of the Lytton Comm. Fire Dept. for 15 plus years and I had never heard of any Brandts around Lytton. Where I presently work there are some "Brants" east of the town I work in but I have never heard of this name around Lytton. So the next day I ask the Oliver Techs daughter to ask her father if he knew of Don Brandt. She didn't see him for a couple of days or forgot to ask him but I kind of hounded her aboutit and one day at noon I pulled up this forum off of the "cartoon box" and printed off this forum and showed it to her. She took it home and showed it to her Dad and the next day she told me of the dicussion she had with her father on this subject. He recalled that tractor well. Within an hour or two I had a phone call from the Oliver Tech and he told me what he knew about Don Brandts Oliver Heritage. He recalled putting a "hair dryer" on it and some other things and told me where Don lived which he stated was west a couple miles and back north 1-3/4 miles on the east side. He also recalled the tractor being sold on a sale and he thought a farmer from the Newell area had bought it and used it for a few years and then was traded in at Hultgrens - Gerlach the John Deere dealer in Storm Lake. From there some farmer named Johnson from Wall Lake bought the tractor and used up until possibly a year ago when it had some catastrophic failure and ended up in the salvage yard at Wall Lake and OLiver Tech said he thought it he seen it at the yard about a year ago or so. He also said it had been painted green at some point in time but when he seen it sitting in the yard at Wall Lake some of the green was coming off and he could see red paint here and there. I was going to ask Josh at Wall Lake about the tractor the other day when I called for some parts the other day but they were extremely busy and seemed a little testy so I didn't want to push my luck asking him about the tractor as I didn't want to come off as a "tire kicker" or let him raise a flag about him having a rare tractor on the yard and then "Boom" price goes up and out of reach. So I did not quiz him over the tractor although you folks might. That is what I know about the tractor.

Any informatin on the 1755 at Wall Lake? I know its been 7 or so years since this post but did anybody check that out? im going to be traveling 30 mins north of there and just curious if i should check it out
