1850 Hydraulics

I hooked the 1850 to my round baler and found when using the remotes to open the door it was real slow. When you let off the lever the door would raise back up a few feet. It seemed to have pressure on both sides of the hoses. I tried the other remote and it did the same thing any ideas?

Id have to get the manual out for the right terms, but those screws that go in the side of the housing under the seat,I think it's the ones with the large nuts around them, not the ones that go straight in the housings with the nuts that take a 9/16ths wrench, adjust those screws. I had a similar problem with mine on the corn planter one time after I had done some work on it.
If not,it might be one of the male tips on the baler. They seem to be awful temperamental about that kind of thing.

If Randy's first idea does not work. Try his second. Those pioneer ends come in at least two or three styles and unless you have the number or the couplers side by side it is hard to tell which is which.

I would have to check the manual also, but the screws Randy is talking about adjust for single acting or double cylinders. I think when they are all the way in it is set for double acting. I do believe you should have the the 3 pt. bypass screw out a few turns as well. Not sure if that would make a difference. That's how my 1750 works anyway.

I checked the screws according to my manual, but they were set right. But while I had the tractor idling I noticed a slight whine and what sounded like the pump loaded up a little. So I checked the 3 pt free travel and it didn't have any. I lowered it a little and my remotes work perfect. Then I noticed the adjustment rod nuts were loose and had come out of adjustment. Thanks for all you guys help.
