What are the differences between a late model 1650 diesel and a 1655 diesel other than the brakes and the hydraulics?

Depends on how late a 1655. It could have the new style power steering. What difference in brakes are you talking about. Also what differences in hydraulics?

John, then about the only difference would be the steering. Are the brakes,hydraulic, and the engine the same? Thanks Larry

Larry, I'm no 1650 expert but I think the early ones had indirect injection and later 1650s had direct injection same as the 1655s. Chuck

I'm not an expert either, but thought that a late 1650 was mechanically the same. Difference would be headlights in grille, flashers on fenders, and decals. I think the light switch is different too.
