oliver 550 questions

Just bought a decent running 550 at auction. Problem is it won't shift into the rear quadrant so pulled shifter out and the middle rail won't move? And oil is milky so I was thinking about pulling out the whole trans/hydraulic setup off and flushing out everything. And new oil any idea what might keep the center rail from moving? Just rust maybe or worse? I'll post pics later today. Also I'm in need of the clamp attaching the exhaust pipe to the hood. I use to have an extra but can't find it anymore thank you for any help

Korves Oliver dot com has those clamps. Price is relatively cheap.
