1550 Engine Oil Filter

Would anyone have a number for a 1550 gas oil filter either agco or Wix? I keep getting a filter that has 3 little holes in it more like a bypass filter. The filter mounts horizontally.

Do you currently have a full-flow style on there right now? Perhaps it's been changed to a full-flow from a bypass style.

Here's what I found...
http://www.external_link.com/oliver-1550-filters-s/36307.htm shows a bypass. The Oliver number 104397A crosses to a Wix 51050(http://www.wixfilters.com/Lookup/PartDetails.aspx?Part=51050), which is what is called for by looking it up by the Wix application chart.

If you would like to go with a full-flow, you'll probably have to go by the buyer's guide and go off specs (thread size/pitch, gasket OD, Filter OD, etc...). I've found different filters using that method before when I wanted something custom. If you can fudge a little on the gasket size, you will probably find something that tickles your fancy.

According to my NAPA (filters made by Wix) book:
Oil: 1050. Air: 2222. Air after S.N. 20-7002181: 6389. Primary fuel: 3073. Secondary fuel: 3165. Hyd: 1781. Trans: 1307.
Please verify. I'm not responsible for typos.

I need to talk to you anyway, but that filter was used on both the 1800A series gas as well as the 1800A series diesels It is a bypass filter.
