840 chopper is home

The 840 chopper got delievered last night, I bought it Fathers day weekend. It feels good to finally have it home. Just had some excitement/problem with the semi getting in the yard. But otherwise no problems other then the radiator cap flying off someplace. Its gona take some elbow grease to get er going and need to find a tire and rim. They are miss matched but couldn't remember what size it had. So I'll eventually be looking for a 14.9-26 and rim or pair of 16.9-26 and rims since those were an option.

What a beast! You will on top of the world when you get her going. Which engine does it have? I see three choices were listed. Greg
 
   The driveline, rear axle, platform are all the same as the Oliver combines used.  Find combines in a salvage yard and you have a parts supply.
 
It would be nice to have the Herc for sure but you don't see GMC V-6s anymore. I seen one with the Herc for sale a month or so before I bought this one and it was more then double what I paid for this one.
