Looking at buying a oliver 1750 that the clutch is stuck is this
any worse to put a clutch in that any other tractor? I have only
put a few in mostly on 2 cyl and a couple farmal h's. Is there
any pointers or would you stay away from it for any reason

One of the easiest clutch jobs you'll ever do,except maybe for a 2 cylinder Deere. No splitting. Just lift the engine out of the tub. If it doesn't have Hydrapower or an Over/Under,you don't even have to take it all the way out.

I would try to unstick the clutch. You need a good log chain 20 feet long and a good tree. We used to do it all the time. Now there are 2 different clutches. Early tractors used a 13 inch organic clutch. Later tractors used a 12 inch button clutch. Need a serial number.

Never had to try any of them more than once unless you stall it. Hook chain to drawbar and low on the tree. Put tractor in low gear. Hold clutch petal down. Run the engine about 1100 RPM. When the chain gets tight it will come loose or it will stall the engine.
