1755 power beyond

Hi guys,
I know this question is been beaten to death on the 50 series tractors, but is there a way to hook up power beyond to run a loader on my 1755? I have an 1850 gas with a loader that I am thinking of selling to free up some cash and I went the power beyond route because the 1850's remotes were too jerky for a loader. I hooked it up so I am familiar with the 50 series, but not the 55 series. Is it even possible? And what ports do I use. Or are the 1755 hydraulics and remotes smoother than the 1850 I have. I appreciate any help.

Getting the jerk out is a simple matter of adjusting the relief valves. To do power beyond I believe you tie into the pipe that runs behind the seat and return straight to the reservoir. It's a closed center system so you either need to modify the control or get one that's closed center.

You DO NOT adjust the relief valves you work with the flow control valves. They offered a remote valve with float for that system. You don't know if your tractor has one by chance. What model and brand of valve do you have on your loader now? You will need a closed center conversion plug. Send me an e-mail. J.

You're right J. I had a brain fart there. I'm liking at putting a loader on my 1600 right now too so they're been on my mind some.

To hook up power beyond on your 1755 find the tee on the left side of the hydraulic housing. One end comes from the pressure control valve one end goes into the upper end of the housing for the three point the other end over to the remotes. Remove the hose coming from the pressure valve assembly and install a tee. Screw one end of the tee onto the original tee one end onto the hose from the pressure valve and your power beyond hose goes on the other. Make sure you have a closed center valve for your loader. The return line goes into a half inch pipe fitting on the back of the hydraulic housing. I believe the tee you need is still available from Agco. There used to be a diffuser available to screw into the return to keep it from airreateing the oil in the reservoir but I don't believe it is available anymore.

As long as the flow control valve is adjusted correctly, the 1755 is well up to the task. If it isn't it'll jerk just as bad as your 1850 did. To tell the truth, if your 1850 were adjusted that one wouldn't jerk either.
