I have a 1650,the power steering control(the unit the steering wheel is attatched to) is worn out been told no repair parts available. To drive on a road at road speed you have to constantly turn wheel. Is the a unit from a combine or something else other than from a White 2-70 fit? Some one said the unit from a Massy Ferguson combine might fit, any one replaced this unit? Thanks Pete

I am pretty sure the Massy 410 (That series I believe) uses the same unit.

The main problem I have heard is while your steering shaft has a spline, those use something different. Maybe a key. I never took one of those combine ones apart.

RT (my 2 cents)

I am going to install a steering column from at 2-155 white tractor and a steering motor from a case ih 1688 combine that is a open center unit. The steering valve from a new Holland TR series is also a good candidate as it is a Char-lynn. Have a photo of what it looks like.
