Oliver diguised as a Cockshutt

I bought a Cockshutt 1550 tractor. It has been painted because it's kind of a darker red than I think most Cockshutts were. It was advertised as a Cockshutt 1550, & those are the labels on the hood of the tractor. I was looking at it closely the other day & I see spots of green on the engine, by the distributor & a couple of other places.. Could this have been an Oliver painted over??? Serial number is 173-314-502... And I got to wondering is this indeed a 1550?? Or did somebody just put these decals on? It has a Cancade loader on it, & the loader has been painted the same color as the tractor.. But the lettering CANCADE are visible faintly through the paint..

look like this one???

Yes, pretty much identical, But to me mine is a bit darker red, more of a maroon, but when I first bought it the pictures looked brighter.
