Oliver 1650 Exhaust Leak

1650 gas has a leak at exhaust manifold for #5 cylinder. I"ve never had the manifold off and it looks original and rusted tight. For those who"ve encountered something similar, does a new gasket set solve the problem? Or are the manifolds prone to rusting/burning/leaking and a new manifold will be needed?

I agree. I had a leak on mine and took it off. Sandblasted it up good and it was still good except for the mounting faces were all pitted up and wouldn't seal without being planed flat again. I've had some that I could take off and clean up and would reseal, but my 1650 wouldn't.
