Oliver 1650

I have an Oliver 1650 that was purchased new by my grandfather in 1969. (I think it is a '68 model from the serial #) Someone recently snuck on to our farm at night and stole the radiator, cutting out anything that was in their way. I am trying to find the parts and put it back together, but I am not sure exactly what I need. I think it may have also had an oil cooler on it, but I cannot find one anywhere online. Also there are several lines, both metal and rubber, that have been cut, and I am not sure how everything was hooked up. Does anyone know where I could find a diagram or picture of the front end of a 1650 that would show the area around the radiator? I think they also may have cut the mounting brackets off as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Forget this year stuff and post the serial number. Does it have a hydra-power or over under unit? Is it gas or diesel? You have a phone number?

If it had an Over/under there should be 4 steel lines running to the front of the tractor and over the top of the radiator. 2 for the hydraulics, and 2 for the over/under. Both attach to the same cooler that mounts in front of the radiator. A late 1650 with an over under is a nice tractor.

Thanks Josh.
It is an o/u. All 4 lines have been cut before they get to the front of the motor. How can I tell what line hooks to what? Also, did the cooler bolt to the radiator, and the radiator to the steel side panels? I don't see any mounting brackets, but there are some threaded holes on those panels.

How close are you to central KY? I bought an engine with radiator out of a 1655 with o/u. I am putting it in a 1600 with Hydra-power. I do not need the coolers and lines. The guy I bought the engine from said he would take $100.00 for them if you came and got them. Call me at 502-507-8806 if you want to try to work something out. Max

it might not help a lot, but you can look at the parts
breakdowns for it on the Internet. Just go to
www.agcopartsbooks.com and click on guest user. Type in the
model and take a look around. I'd take you some pictures of
my 1650 if you want, but I have a hydra power 1964 model. I
don't have the serial number in front of me or I would post that
too...

If you want some pictures, let me know and I'll snap you some.
Email is open.

Damn shame someone would do that to your tractor.

I am missing something here. There are 2 coolers in the front. Also we sold quite a few late 1650 diesels and I don't remember any lines on top.

J,
I'm sure you know a lot more about those tractors than I do. I have an early 1655, which I was thinking was similar. 2 lines come down the left frame rail, and then up and over the radiator. The same on the right side. But after they go over the radiator they go into 1 cooler with 4 connections. Is a 1650 different than this?
Josh

Never had a 1655 apart in that area. We sold late 1650 diesels like there would not be another tractor. That is 2 coolers, that is why there are 4 lines. I was thinking those 4 lines all ran along the frame. I will need to look at a picture. J.

John, here's a picture of my 1555 oil cooler I dragged out of my garage. It has the four lines like they are talking about I have the old style cooler on it now that looks like fin tubing bent into a loop. Greg
