Engine swap questions

I have a 1600 Utility with a worn out gas engine. A friend has diesel engine in a 1655 that he is going to part out. I can go hear it run before it is taken out of the chassis. Besides the hood, linkage etc. What other problems might I encounter to swap the engines?

Include the starter, it is likely a higher power. Yours may be bendix type (I don't know).

Tach drive might be worth checking out.

Battery box might be different.

Can't think of anything else at the mo. You seem to have most things covered.

Max, you also need a return line to the fuel tank from the injectors. You will like the 1655 engine for its power! Good luck. Greg
