My neighbor bought this 2-105 at auction in Sharon Springs NY on Saturday. I drove it home with my fingers crossed about a 40 minute drive with no problems. Started it up about 8:00 this morning and he used it all day and it ran fine. It looks like some oil in the radiator what could it be? Greg

Nate, that is a Ford baler and it works. He just chopped corn tonight with the 2-105 after pressure washing radiator worked good but hydraulic lines got hot after only one load. It needs all the fluids and filters changed but does have oil in engine and in hydraulic reservoir. He doesn't have a manual so need to find out how much hytran and engine oil to get and filter numbers. Thanks Greg

John, will my repair manual for 1855/1955 work for 2-105? I looked at the manual for 1955 and talks about oil cooler pump failure also excessive leakage of one or more hydraulic control valves like you mentioned. I am headed over to help milk so will not be back till 8:00 they are the ones who bought the 2-105 just need your guidance on this. Thanks Greg

thats neat to see that Ford baler, its just somthing you never see, around here anyways. spotted one for sale on craigslist in past 6 months that was somewhere in northern minnesota.

First of all see what the compensator is set at. Then see how much leakage you have out of the case drain and then report back. Early 55 series had external cooler pumps. Your 2-105 will not have an external cooler pump

Ive got a 530 Ford baler. Had it for several years to bale a little waterway hay. I bought it out of a grove a couple miles from home. Did paint it up and a little tinkering and it works ok. Im in SW MN.
