550 Exhaust manifold source?

I am looking for an exhaust manifold for an Oliver 550 gas. Will the manifold from anything else work? Like a 60 gas? I know that the exhaust outlet points the wrong way, but I think I can make that work. (PO hacked the bejeebs outta the hood to run a muffler straight up....worth a thought.)

I have got to do something, listening to the racket from that 4 banger uncapped is driving me to drink.

If I cannot find a source, I am going to try to build a header for it...

Thanks!

Do you have the old manifold to find a number cast
into it? I have some manifolds but maybe not the
correct one for your tractor. Kent in Texas would be
a place to check also.

A 66,Super 66,660 will bolt on,but it won't work. Those came straight out of the top and your gas tank and heat shield are in the way. You'll have to have the right one that comes out the side.

You going to need a serial number. When they went to the bigger engine the manifold changed. So tell us the serial number and then we can tell you which manifold will work.

Um...Okie dokie. Can anyone tell me where to find the serial number? I thought it was supposed to be on the main frame, near the clutch pedal. It is not. May be missing. Also, I think the tractor may have been an industrial, and repainted AG green at some point. The paint is peeling, and there is Yellow paint underneath. It is an early model I was told, since it does not have Power Steering. I was told that became standard on the later models? The intake manifold has OLIVER cast into it if that helps, I know that sometimes when they change things, something like a casting variation makes a difference with ID.

RR,
That figures! lol

Dick,
Do I have to pull the manifold to find the casting number? I could not see one just looking at it....?

Thanks for the help guys!
