1550 clutch fixed

That's a huge load off my mind. I got that 1550 back together yesterday and the pedal was all free travel. I adjusted it all the way to the end and it still wouldn't release. After a half way decent nights sleep,I went out this morning and pushed the pedal down. The grease hose was moving and I could hear it hitting the fingers on the pressure plate. I had another linkage here off a parts tractor and those rods are just half inch SAE thread,so I took that one and welded a nut to it to make more threads. I screwed that one on,put the pin in and it released. I don't know if the rebuilder put too much face on it or if the pressure plate is just that bad. Maybe I need to put the loader on it for a few months to wear the clutch down some.

Good thing I slept on it. If I hadn't been so darned tired,I probably would have started tearing it back down right then and there on the spot.
