Machinery Pete posted on Facebook that an Oliver 1555 and loader recently sold for $29,500 on a farm auction in North Dakota. One of the comments said it was probably a loader special. Does any one know the details and if it was a loader special?

There was a 1555 loader special and all it was was a stripped down 1555. Sherry of Oliver Heritage magazine did an article on it issue #19 June/July 2007. Anderson brothers of Edgeley ND came up with the concept of a new cheap loader tractor. Greg

Could it have been a family tractor two disgruntled family members were battling over? I think they made 400 loader specials, doesn't make them particularly rare. I thought a g550 sold not too long ago for low 30's? Much much rarer.
