Oliver 70 Pulling

Okay so the bore of an Oliver 77 is 84mm and the bore of a Oliver 70 is 79mm. talk to my machinist he said he will split that difference 2.5mm off the block and shave the sleeve down 2.5mm. Now my question is are the Oliver 70 wrist pins the same size as a 77 wrist pin? If not what does work?

if you are getting custom machine work done go alot bigger than that if you are going to get serious about pulling need atleast 300 cubic in.

NO the 70 pins are smaller I would rethink this a little bit. Remember a 70 is a Continental built engine and the 77 is a Waukesha. Do you have dimensions for both sleeves on the outside?

My 70 has 3 5/8 bore. My sleeve flange is almost touching each other. I have to run a copper head gasket. If you want alittle more power just put some stroke in it. Mine is stroke 1 1/8. Take it from me and save yourself some hassle and build a 66/super 66. That is my 0.02.
