I posted these pictures on tractor talk but thought they belong here too. The first pic is my father and our 1950T pulling his house into position on our farm in Treadwell NY in 1985. The other pic is me blowing snow with our 2-70 White and snow blower my dad bought for $250 at an auction. My neighbor called and asked if I had a snow blower for his driveway and I said I'll be right over. He was the one who took the picture in 1987. Greg

We used to have a 2-70 similar to that one, ours was a gas, is yours a gas or diesel, and the 1950t is one of my favorite Oliver's them and the 2255

That 2-70 was a diesel. It came from a big time operator in Delaware county NY that had a bunch of Whites. It was dairy operation that had investors and when those tax loopholes were closed they sold out in the 80's. It was called Dreamstreet and one of their biggest investors was John Lennon and Yoko Onno. My father had lobbied against these tax dodge opperations because at that time dairy farmers were being penalized for a milk surplus. Some may remember the 50 cent per hundred weight milk tax on milk. Greg

Larry, I still remember plowing and discing with that tractor. My Dad was plowing with the 1555 and a three bottom plow and I was on the 1950T with a four bottom churning up the rocks and little bit of dirt with the 1950T just whistling along and that was 30 years ago. Greg
