Thanks for the information on your fix.
I have a 1750 Oliver Gas Tractor, 1968 or 1969 Model and have the exact same problem you experienced. I will look in the garage tomorrow for an old plastic sheet like you described and make my own set of 4 gaskets.
I also believe I should have no issue in finding one or two spacer washers, too.
I really appreciate your help.
