Part question

When I pulled the tappet cover off the 1550 gas, there was a broken rocker arm. That's why it was missing. OK,so I went to Agco parts book online and it says there is a right and a left. ?? I know there is an angle to them, but which is right and which is left? I assume it would be the way it angles looking at it from one side of the tractor or the other, but which side?

I looked at the parts book and I see what you mean. You may have to wait till someone who actually knows something answers(LOL) but my guess would be that you would use the same orientation as the diagram. I also know that those who make parts books don't always use the same logic as I do. Sometimes they use no logic at all (expletive deleted). Is there a number or a R or L on the broken rocker?

Randy, not to hijack your question, but if you have time I have a question for you on another topic. email is mopoindexter at comcast dot net, or phone number at two eight one, 468, one four five four. Thanks, Mitch.

There are numbers on them, but they aren't stamped L or R. They aren't the same numbers that are on the website. The one I need is a 0180567,the other one is a 0180467.
I'll probably have to call the dealer with those numbers. Would be nice to know which side of the tractor they figure this stuff from though. I know right and left from standing behind the machine, but not from beside it.

Logically, I would think you need to be viewing from camshaft side as that is the direction of progression/transmission of the movement.

I could be 100% wrong, of course!

I just called the dealer. Parts gal didn't know, service manager said he thought the same as you,so that's how we went ahead and ordered it. We'll see. About $89. I sure wish the ones from a 1600 were the same. I have a whole rocker assembly here for one of those, but they're different.

Numbers 0180467 & 0180567 are Waukesha part numbers.

0180467 is the right and is Oliver part # KS 206 E.

0180567 is the left and is Oliver part # KS 206 D.

I"m sure the part number under the current system is changed.

OK,thanks. That's the way we ordered it. The one that broke was the 567 and we ordered the D. Bruce said that was too long of a number to be an Oliver number.
