Oliver Marvel Schebler USX 32-1

I finally got the 1800 back up and running, but I am getting to much fuel in the engine, smoked my self out of the shop heavy gas exhaust. I turned the high speed screw in all the way and the engine doesn't even skip a beat, keeps right on going. The engine has a mechanical fuel pump. I am wondering is the accelerator pump shot? And that is allowing to much fuel in. Any suggestions? Would there be a better solution for a carb on that tractor.

Part two the PTO drive shaft when that is installed and you install the short slug to seal around the o-ring, how much end play should there between that and the internal snap ring??

You may have 2 problems. Do you have a vacuum gauge? You will need it to test the unit. You have any kind of a manual? Do you have a phone number?
