Found this on Craigslist today wanted to share if anyone's interested never seen a 430 combine.
430

Never saw one either, but they're listed in the Fast Line serial number book. Built from 1962-65. There was a 431 too. I wonder if that would have been a pull type?

In C.H. Wendel Oliver Hart-Parr book it say's 430 is slighty smaller version of 431 both used the same engine a Chrysler 265 six cylinder. Also first Oliver combine to offer cab as an option. Greg

I wish it was closer. My 7300 is getting iffy and I don't want to run it all the way in to the ground.

same combine was up for sale last year, I was contemplating it last year, this year also. then I'd have twins.

They were tje updated versions of the Cockshutt 427 and 428. All were good machines. This was one reason White boughrt Cocskhutt was for the advanced combines they had at the time. Assets were worth more than share value earlier so they they were controlled by people who were not interested in machinery, but a quick buck and sold the business to White. Companies were a lot better of when the engineers run them instead of the the socalled business people.
