What can you tell me about my Oliver Tractor

I just recently inherited an Oliver tractor. I know very little about tractors. From the pictures I have seen it looks like I have an Oliver 550, but when I run the serial number 121 839-519 it indicates I possibly have a 440. There is a tag on the engine that says that it is a Waukesha. I don't know if that is a standard engine for this tractor. So are there any other places to look or things I can do to tell what I have. I don't know if I have a need for this and would like to eventually sell it, but I need some education on what I have first.

Thank you, this is the first answer I have gotten that the person seems confident. Do you know by what I have posted if it is a disel or gas burner?

NO, the 519 is for the updated transmission used only in the late Super 55 and almost all 550 series tractors. There are other numbers on the serial number plate that will tell what engine is in the tractor.

Your pictures might be revealing as to which fuel? Carburettor or Injection pump, plugleads and distributor or injectors and delivery pipes, possibly bendix or pre-engaged starter motor?

There may be others.
