1750 hydro pump question.

I've been trying to get the steering and lift arms to work on this tractor. I'm not getting any pressure to system at all, also the pto is not working, are these two related, just wondering if there is a gear broke or do I just get new pump? Thanks for the help[/i]

Sounds like there's a good chance the hub in the center of the flywheel that drives the pto shaft is shot, the shaft is shot, or the shaft is not engaged into the hub. The long pto shaft drives the pto and hydraulics.

No, you pull the PTO shaft out and chain coupler off.

Then pull the motor and over/under out as a unit and then separate
them. Take the clutch off and the PTO hub is bolted in the middle
of the flywheel.

Obviously, the grill and radiator have to come off plus other
extraneous pieces.

RT (my 2 cents)

If the 1750's come direct only like my 1650,you don't have to
remove the engine.just remove chain coupler and spline
coupler, bell housing and clutch and long shaft out the back of
course.that gives easy access to the center hub.

It has the hydro drive so they call it , not sure what the difference would be in what u said verses pulling engine. I don't know a lot about tractors but hopefully I can get it down with this 1750. Thanks for the help guy's.
