1750 oliver hydro oil??

I just bought a 1967 1750 and i have some hydro problems to address, was wondering what type of fluid that in takes. Thanks hope i can figure this ol girl out.

Just a good grade of hydraulic oil. If you have anything else around that uses the HyTran/HyGuard type, use that if you'll be sharing cylinders.

Do you mean Hydra-Power or Hydraulic? The Hydra-Power drive unit most of them I see (and mine too) use Dextron ATF in them, The hydraulic (dip stick below the seat) system uses Hi-Tran Hydraulic oil. Bandit

Ok thank u so there is a fill place under the gas tank I thought that was where the oil goes for the hydraulic tank?? And where would the hydro holding tank be for the dextron? Thanks again for the help.

So I have a hydraulic fluid 46 seems very common and have a lot of it ur think it will be ok? And as for as the hydro shift system where is dip stick thanks yall

The hydroshift is the unit on the back of the engine, dipstick under the gas tank. For that, you need either ATF oil, or a hy-trans type oil.

The hydraulics, while I'm not exactly familiar with the 1750, I think is right in from of the seat. Just about any hyraulic oil would work in the hydraulics because it is an isolated system. If, for example, you have other tractors that use a specific hydraulic oil, just go with a common fluid for for after draining and replacing the hydraulic filter.
