question for rrlund

LOL. No. I've had the clamps loose on my 1600 since January of 2001 waiting for them to work loose. Still haven't.
Everybody else says rosebud tip and porta power.

I dont know if this might work or not hoses always come apart if at first you push in before pulling.my thought would be clean the tube real well then oil it then place the tractor close to a wall take a bottle jack and try and push in between the wall and axle .you might have to put something on the other side to keep the tractor from sliding over but maybe if it moves a little and breaks free you can then pull it out .

I chained the 1850 to one side of mine and the 2-135 to the other and pulled. It never even budged.

The reason the hose trick works is when you push in the hose will expand because its collapsing when pulling it will stretch over its hard to explain but thats why i was wondering if it would work as you push in the metal would mushroom enough to start you probably wont see it. pulling might make it go tighter

If you can get the piece to move a little it starts to break down the rust and the penetrant can get in better. I got the tie rods apart by putting them in my press and pushing the end in. Then I could twist it with a pipe wrench. Chain to a tree to twist the spindle, not pull it out.

We chained the off side of our 1650 to a d-9 dozer parked on a hill.hooked the other to a 1950.put the 1950 in neutral facing downhill with a slightly longer chain hooked to the dozer to stop the 1950 when it broke loose.then heated the tube until.....something what 14000 or so lbs of rolling load and heat will do!
