My question is in regards to the Power Steering Control Assembly for a 1959 Oliver 550 Diesel.
In the Control Assembly I am trying to determine how the tappets and springs go into the control assembly. My Parts and Maintenance manuals all refer to a different type of power steering unit and Yesterdays Tractors part has 5 ports and the tappets have small holes in them. Mine has four ports and the tappets are solid and one set is different then the rest of them. I am trying to figure out which port the different tappet goes into and how it is assembled. Ideally I would like to get my hands on a schematic. My power steering is cylinder assist. Any idea on how to get a schematic of my assembly. or specific directions on assembly?
Thank You (Tappet is probably not the correct term for these little pistons)
