Changing points

Sometimes those small screws slots are "out of shape" lol so get a good down grip on a good sharp screwdriver when removing them. Id clean up any grease or dust or oil including the cam then use just a tad of new clean cam grease (sometimes comes in a small capsule with new points) and reinstall new points keeping them clean of residue or finger prints maybe lightly buff/polish with a clean rag to remove any oxide, install and gap them properly and Id check the gap on more then just one cam lobe in case the shaft or bushings are worn. While in there check, clean and inspect the cap and rotor tip.
